WHM manages hosting accounts and server or reseller settings. Its login is different from the cPanel login used for one website and from the Nabtech client-area login used for billing and service management.

What you need before you begin
Locate the WHM address and reseller username supplied for your active service. Server administration credentials are available only when included in your service. A normal shared-hosting cPanel user does not automatically receive WHM access.
01 Log in to WHM securely
- Open the verified HTTPS address from your service details. The standard secure WHM port is
2087, for examplehttps://server.example.com:2087. Use the actual hostname provided for your server. - Check the browser address and certificate before entering credentials. A domain that has just been registered or moved may not yet point to the correct server.
- Enter the WHM username and password, then complete two-factor authentication if enabled. A reseller uses the assigned reseller username, not the Linux root username.
- Confirm the account name and server displayed after login. Search for List Accounts to see the accounts your role can manage.
- Log out when finished, particularly on a shared computer. Bookmark the plain login address rather than a URL containing a temporary session token.
How do I confirm the WHM login is legitimate?
Start with the verified WHM hostname in your active service details and check its HTTPS address before entering credentials. After signing in, confirm that the expected server, your owned hosting accounts and your permitted tools appear. A familiar-looking login screen alone is not enough to verify the service. Seeing fewer tools than a server-administrator screenshot can be normal for a reseller account.
Troubleshoot unexpected results
For a connection timeout, check the exact hostname, service status and whether your network blocks the port. For rejected credentials, stop repeated guesses and use the authorized recovery route. Do not bypass an unexplained certificate warning or submit passwords in a support ticket.
