Paying an invoice without a PayPal account when guest checkout is offered

account-help

You may be able to pay by card through a PayPal guest checkout when that option is offered for your transaction. Availability depends on the checkout, region and PayPal's eligibility checks. It is not guaranteed for every customer, invoice or recurring agreement.

01 Use the invoice checkout

  1. Sign in to our client area and open the correct invoice. Verify the balance, currency and service.
  2. Select the available PayPal payment option. On the official provider page, look for a card or guest-payment option if one is presented.
  3. Enter the required billing and card information directly into that secure checkout. Use an email address where you can receive the receipt.
  4. Review the amount, conversion and any account or automatic-payment terms before submitting.
  5. Complete your bank's verification if requested, then return to the invoice and check its status.

02 If PayPal requires a login

Do not assume there is a hidden guest option or attempt to bypass the restriction. Return to the invoice and choose another approved payment method if available. Billing support can explain the currently offered options, but cannot guarantee PayPal will permit guest checkout.

What should I do if my card is charged but the invoice remains unpaid?

Check whether the bank entry is pending or completed and keep the payment receipt. Avoid repeated submissions until the transaction is understood. Send support the invoice number, date, amount, currency and provider reference, with full card and security details removed.

A one-time guest payment does not necessarily create a renewal agreement. Check the service's next due date and arrange future payment through the client area. Keep the receipt securely so you can identify the transaction even without a PayPal account history.
