Removing a card from PayPal without overlooking renewals

You can remove a stored card through PayPal's wallet when the account permits it. Before doing so, review the services that rely on that card. Removing a card does not cancel a Nabtech service or erase previously completed payments.

01 Prepare the replacement where needed

If an active subscription uses the card, decide how its next payment will be funded. Add and verify a suitable replacement first, then review the relevant automatic-payment agreement. Do not assume the general wallet preference controls every merchant agreement.

  1. Sign in directly to PayPal and open Wallet.
  2. Select the card you intend to remove and check its last digits.
  3. Choose Remove card and complete any confirmation shown.
  4. Verify that the card no longer appears as an available wallet card.
  5. Review the funding details of any continuing automatic payments and check your next Nabtech invoice.

02 If PayPal will not remove it

Read the reason shown in the account. Pending activity or account conditions may need to be resolved through PayPal. We cannot override PayPal's wallet controls. Keep the exact error for PayPal support and avoid sharing card security details in ordinary messages.

What about a lost or stolen card?

Contact the card issuer using its official channel. Wallet removal does not replace the issuer's card-blocking and replacement process. After the replacement arrives, update the authorised billing arrangements that should continue.

Keep payment receipts and agreement references for your records. If you intended to cancel a service as well as remove a card, submit that service request separately under its terms and confirm the outcome. Otherwise the invoice can remain due even though the old card is no longer stored.
