Changing your Virtualizor account password

Changing the Virtualizor account password protects access to VPS power and console controls. It does not change the root or Administrator password inside your VPS, the VNC password, or your Nabtech client-area password.

Prepare for the change

Confirm you can still access the email address used for account recovery. Generate a unique password in a password manager. If you suspect another person has accessed the panel, also plan to review authentication settings and any API credentials.

01 Change your Virtualizor account password

  1. Sign in to the trusted Virtualizor panel and open your account or profile menu.
  2. Choose My Profile or the account settings view, then the Account Password section available in your installed theme.
  3. Enter the current password if requested and provide the new password in the required fields. Check for unintended spaces from copying.
  4. Save the password change and wait for confirmation. Keep your current session open while testing a fresh login in another browser session.
  5. Store the verified new credential and update only authorized software that actually uses this account password. Enable two-factor authentication if your panel supports it.

How do I test the new Virtualizor password?

Confirm a new panel session accepts the new password and that your VPS list remains correct. Test the operating-system login separately only if you intentionally changed that different credential.

If the change does not work

If the current password is unknown, use the panel recovery process or contact support from the verified client account. If a password manager keeps filling the previous value, update its saved entry. Do not repeatedly reset the VPS operating system password to fix a control-panel login problem.
