Building a Web Hosting website with SitePad

SitePad is a visual website-building option advertised with our Web Hosting offering. Where it is enabled for your service, it provides a way to create and edit a website using the builder's available layouts and editing tools. It can suit a business presentation site when you want to work visually and prefer to start from an existing design rather than develop every page manually.

01 Choose the right website-building environment

SitePad and the NabWP AI website builder belong to different website-management experiences. NabWP is our separate managed WordPress product, with WordPress-focused tools and AI-assisted creation of editable WordPress content. Choosing SitePad for a general Web Hosting website does not automatically create a WordPress installation, add WordPress plugins or activate a NabWP subscription. Decide which editing environment and application features you need before building a large site.

If you expect to use WordPress themes, plugins or a WordPress shop, consider the WordPress workflow from the outset. If you use SitePad, confirm that its current features meet your requirements for forms, integrations and future editing. Do not assume that moving between builders will preserve every layout or function automatically. Publishing a builder site into a folder already used by another website can create conflicts, so check the destination and preserve the existing site before making that change.

02 Create and review your SitePad website

  1. Open the builder through the access option provided for your Web Hosting service.
  2. Select the intended domain or website location, choose an appropriate design and replace sample text, images and contact information with your own material.
  3. Review the site on mobile and desktop layouts before publishing, and test navigation, forms and any business details that visitors will rely on.

A finished-looking template still needs your content and a careful review.

03 Example: publish a three-page SitePad business site

A photographer needs a simple presentation site with Home, Services and Contact pages. Open the SitePad option provided for the Web Hosting service and confirm the intended domain or website folder.

  1. Choose a layout that suits a small image-led business site.
  2. Replace every sample heading, image, contact address and business description.
  3. Add navigation to all three pages and check that the contact action reaches the intended form or address.
  4. Review the pages in mobile and desktop layouts.
  5. Publish to the chosen location and send a real controlled enquiry.

Expected result: all pages open publicly, navigation works and an enquiry reaches the photographer. A visually complete Contact section should be tested as a working function before the website is announced.

What should I check before publishing a SitePad website?

  1. Open the SitePad option provided for the selected hosting service and confirm the intended domain or folder.
  2. Replace sample content and connect real forms or integrations rather than treating a visual section as a working service.
  3. Publish to the intended location and verify navigation, mobile presentation and message delivery.

Do not publish over an existing WordPress or other application without a deliberate replacement plan and backup. SitePad and NabWP's AI WordPress builder are different editing systems. A later move between them can require rebuilding layouts rather than automatically converting every design element.
