Your DNS Manager controls the records that direct visitors, email and other services to the right destination. Start by choosing the domain you intend to change. A hosting subscription, a domain registration and a DNS zone are related services, but they do not always live with the same provider.

01 Open the manager
- Sign in to our client area and select the client account that owns the domain or qualifying hosting service.
- Open Domains and choose your domain. In its management menu, look for Advanced DNS Manager or DNS Management. The wording depends on the enabled client-area mode.
- To see several zones together, look for the DNS zones entry under Domains. Some themes place this under Services. You can also use
index.php?m=nabtechresellerdns&page=mydnsrelative to the client-area address. - Search for the domain and select Manage DNS. Check the domain heading before editing a record.
02 Understand the available sections
DNS records contains individual records. Bulk & setup provides imports, exports and reusable setups when allowed. Other available sections can include DNSSEC, Reverse DNS, History & requests, Health and Backups. Account-wide views can also show Tasks. Website and email forwarding appear only where those services are enabled for the selected domain.
A missing section does not mean your browser lost data. The manager displays features allowed by your package, the selected DNS server and your account permissions. For example, reverse DNS needs an eligible IP address, while DNSSEC needs signing support.
03 Check whether this is the active DNS service
Read the nameserver or delegation information shown for the domain. Records in this manager affect public lookups only when the domain is delegated to the appropriate DNS service. Creating a zone here does not automatically replace nameservers at your registrar. If your domain uses another provider's nameservers, first decide whether to edit there or carry out a planned DNS move.
Why is my domain missing from DNS Manager?
Confirm you selected the correct client account and that the relevant domain or hosting service is active. A linked user may need domain-management or service permissions. Contact support with the domain name and the service you expect to provide DNS. Never send your password or an API token in a ticket.
