The current WHMCS connector includes an exact catalogue-sync addon for registration, transfer and renewal prices that vary independently by year. Use its complete preview to review prices, currencies and service flags before applying changes to your retail catalogue.

01 Prepare the connector
Install and configure the registrar connector first. Copy the accompanying generated pricing addon into modules/addons/MODULE_SLUG_pricing. Back up the target WHMCS database and record any prices or TLD settings you intentionally manage manually.
- Activate the connector's Exact catalogue sync addon under WHMCS Addon Modules.
- Grant access only to administrators responsible for pricing.
- Open the addon, enter your intended selling markup and choose Load complete catalogue preview.
- Review every offered term, registration/transfer/renewal amount, currency and capability flag.
- Enter
SYNC CATALOGUEwhen the preview is correct, then apply the changes.
02 Follow the complete result
The importer processes 25 TLDs per request and can continue automatically or be paused. This batch size is not a 500-TLD catalogue limit. Review each result and reload the preview after a failure before deciding what to retry.
Absent exported terms are disabled rather than manufactured from another year's amount. Terms that the host API cannot represent are reported. The exported currency must be active in the target WHMCS installation.
Can Registrar TLD Sync overwrite my exact imported term prices?
WHMCS's standard Utilities > Registrar TLD Sync uses a minimum-term pricing model and its own markup calculations. Running it after exact sync can overwrite the reviewed multi-year matrix. Choose the intended tool and do not run competing jobs with different markups.
The command-line sync included with the connector offers preview and apply modes. It reads saved credentials, so an API key should not be placed on the command line. Use the host's supported PHP CLI with BCMath and review the preview before enabling apply.
03 Check features and existing customers
When feature synchronization is enabled, DNS Management, Email Forwarding, ID Protection and EPP settings follow the exported per-TLD flags. Confirm that the upstream offer has refreshed those flags after a service change.
Catalogue sync does not reprice existing customer renewal charges or already generated invoices. Review those through your normal billing process. Finally, test a sample retail quote for each relevant currency and term, comparing it with the preview and your intended margin.
