Client design controls the appearance of the suite's customer interfaces and selected broader client-area styling. Each section saves independently, so preview and save the particular surface you intend to change.

01 Apply a design change
- Open Workspace > Client design and choose the section you want to edit.
- Set Brand & appearance for your brand name and general accent. Use the theme default where you want to inherit the active WHMCS theme.
- Review Global look for card, dialog and overlay styling. Use Advanced colours only where you need a deliberate override.
- Configure Website manager, Hosting tool tiles and Renewal notice and actions as separate customer surfaces.
- Inspect the live preview, then use the matching button such as Save appearance, Save look or Save website manager.
- Reload an actual customer page to verify the saved result in your installed theme.
02 Test global rounded styling carefully
Rounded client area has its own Save corners button. The current implementation reaches beyond the module's pages to cards, fields and supported dropdowns across the WHMCS client area. The recent release also adjusts inside-card edge bars and scrolling lists.
Test account details, support forms, the cart and checkout, including dependent country and state fields. Existing dropdown widgets can retain their own rendering. Do not assume every third-party theme or custom checkout has already been tested for your installation.
03 Choose the website manager layout
The manager can open inside the client area or full screen. Full screen provides a focused manager with a route back to the client area. The website portal shares the website manager's colours, so check it after changing that section.
Keep text, buttons and status colours readable. A warning should remain distinguishable from a success state without relying only on colour. Check narrow screens and long translated labels before approving a design.
04 Save and reset predictably
An unsaved preview does not change the customer interface. Resetting a section changes its draft preview; save afterward if you intend customers to receive that reset. Other sections retain their independently saved values.
Check built-in email buttons after global accent changes, since they use related branding. Customized email content may need its own review.
How should I recover from conflicting custom styles?
Inspect your Custom code snippets and theme overrides before repeatedly changing design controls. A later custom CSS rule can override the saved design. Keep a copy of the previous working configuration so an unsuccessful visual change can be reversed cleanly.
