Finding the control panel and management tools for your hosting service

Your client area is the starting point for managing a service. Eligible Web Hosting services provide Account Manager tools and may also offer direct access to their underlying control panel. NabWP Managed WordPress is a separate product with WordPress-focused management.

What you need before you begin

Open the correct active service in your account. A guide for cPanel, DirectAdmin, SiteWorx or Plesk applies only when that panel is actually assigned to the service. The presence of a knowledgebase guide does not mean every product includes that panel or every add-on.

01 Open the right management tools for your service

  1. Sign in to your account, open your hosting services and select the domain or service you intend to manage. Check its product name before opening management tools.
  2. Use the available Account Manager areas for common tasks such as files, email, databases or domains. When the service offers a control-panel login button, use it to reach the panel associated with that service.
  3. For NabWP, use WordPress Manager and the tools shown for the selected WordPress installation. A cPanel screen and a WordPress dashboard control different parts of the service.
  4. Match the knowledgebase guide to the panel name and visible feature. Use panel search when a category layout or theme differs from a screenshot.

02 Example: choose a workspace when you own two services

Suppose your account contains a Web Hosting service for example.com and a separate NabWP service for blog.example.net. To manage a mailbox on the first service, open that Web Hosting service and its available email controls. To review a WordPress plugin on the second service, open the NabWP service and select the relevant WordPress installation.

Before making the change, compare the service name, domain and selected website with the task you intended. A familiar-looking management screen is not enough to confirm that you are working on the right service.

Confirm the expected result

Confirm the domain, hosting username and current product match the task. The panel’s feature list is a better guide to available tools than an old promotional list.

What if the management tool I need is not available for this service?

If a tool is missing, ask support to confirm its availability for that service. Do not buy another panel licence or reinstall server software to add a shared-hosting feature. For a proposed migration between panels, first review website, mail and database compatibility.
