A WHM package is a reusable collection of account limits and settings. Creating packages before provisioning customers makes it easier to offer consistent plans and to understand how each account uses your reseller allocation.

Check access and requirements
Check the resources actually included in your reseller service. Decide the disk space, monthly data-transfer allowance, mailbox and database limits, and the feature list customers should receive. A package does not increase the resources purchased from us.
01 Create a hosting package in WHM
- Open Packages > Add a Package in WHM.
- Choose a short, stable name such as
starter. Avoid embedding a price that may change; a package name cannot simply be renamed later. WHM may prefix it with your reseller username. - Enter the resource limits in the units shown. Disk space and monthly transfer are separate quantities. Choose unlimited only where your reseller permissions and product policy allow it.
- Select the appropriate feature list, available cPanel theme and language. Review optional settings such as shell access instead of enabling every option.
- Select Add, then reopen the package to check the saved values. Use it when creating a new account or explicitly changing an existing account package.
How do I check the new hosting package?
Provision a test account within your allocation and confirm that its cPanel reports the intended limits and features. Keep the package definition consistent with your published offer and billing configuration.
Resolve setup problems
An unavailable package option usually reflects reseller permissions or server configuration. Ask support to confirm availability rather than entering larger limits repeatedly. If you chose the wrong package name, create the correctly named replacement and move accounts deliberately before removing the unused package.
