WHM can select an installed login theme through Tweak Settings. This controls the login presentation, while customer cPanel logos and colours are configured separately through Customization.

What you need before you begin
Use an authorized administrator account and confirm that the intended theme is installed and compatible with the current cPanel & WHM release. Keep a working administrative session open and record the current default before switching.
01 Select the default cPanel login theme in WHM
- Open Server Configuration > Tweak Settings in WHM.
- Choose the Display tab and locate Default login theme.
- Select the intended installed theme from the list. This setting does not install a theme from an arbitrary ZIP file or validate third-party login code for you.
- Save the change and read the result. Open a separate private browser window to inspect the unauthenticated login page without ending your working administrator session.
- Test the supported login routes used by your customers, including cPanel and any shared service-login pages affected by the installed theme. Check labels, contrast, mobile layout and two-factor prompts.
How do I verify the selected cPanel login theme?
Confirm the selected login presentation loads and authentication still works. Verify custom support links go to legitimate HTTPS destinations. Do not assume this one setting rebrands WHM navigation, the client area or all customer email templates.
Troubleshoot unexpected results
If a custom theme breaks the form, restore the previous default from your retained session. If a theme does not appear, review its supported installation method and current vendor compatibility rather than editing active login files directly. Keep custom authentication pages minimal and review them after panel updates.
