An enabled master reseller can manage commercial settings and ordinary reseller accounts within its assigned hierarchy. Master access does not provide unrestricted platform-administrator access. Keep your provider cost, downstream selling price and recorded billing adjustment separate throughout the workflow.

01 Maintain a complete tier
- Read your available TLDs and current tiers. Check the underlying cost and operations your own account may sell.
- Choose a meaningful tier name and permitted markup policy. Use explicit registration, renewal or transfer prices only when that is the intended commercial model.
- When saving, send the complete
tldslist to retain. Each entry can be a TLD string or an object with its supported price or markup fields. - Read the saved tier and test resulting downstream quotes for representative TLDs and operations.
- Before deleting a tier, move assigned resellers to another eligible tier. Deleting an offer does not delete registered domains.
Saving a tier replaces its TLD rows. Sending only a newly added extension can remove earlier extensions from that tier. Preserve the existing complete configuration in your change record before updating it.
02 Run and verify a promotion
Supply a name and discount_percent greater than zero and no greater than 100. Set the intended operation, optional TLD and tier restriction, UTC start and end timestamps, and active or paused status. Validate an eligible downstream quote before advertising the discount.
Read orders and usage to compare provider cost with the amount you invoice the reseller. A percentage entered in a master policy is not a substitute for checking the resulting price, currency and order evidence.
03 Place or release an account hold
Read the assigned reseller's current version. POST its reseller_id, row_version, explicit hold value, reason and the required HOLD or RELEASE confirmation. Reload after a conflict and review why the hold exists before releasing it.
04 Record downstream adjustments
Use kind as refund, credit or charge with a clear reason. A refund references the eligible operation_id; a credit or charge identifies the assigned reseller and positive amount, with the appropriate currency. Reconcile the adjustment with the actual invoice or payment process.
Common questions
Does a master refund return money through the payment gateway?
This endpoint records the downstream billing adjustment. It is not proof of a provider refund, bank transfer or native gateway refund.
Does holding a reseller cancel existing domains?
No. A hold controls account access according to the service workflow. Completed registry operations and renewal obligations remain separate.
Can I apply these changes to any reseller ID?
Only accounts assigned to your permitted hierarchy are eligible. Use the platform administrator for a genuine reassignment rather than trying unrelated IDs.
