Configure HostBill domain prices for the registrar, TLD actions and periods you can actually fulfil. Registration, transfer, renewal and redemption can have different costs and rules, so review each separately.

01 Create or update the TLD offer
- Open Settings > Products & Services and select a domain order page. Add or edit the intended extension in the domain product's General settings.
- Set the supported periods and approved selling prices for registration, transfer and renewal. Configure a redemption fee only with the appropriate lifecycle settings and provider support.
- Open Registrar Settings. Select the activated module and correct application connection, test it and review the default nameservers and transfer-code requirements.
- Configure the TLD's renewal-order timing, payment-controlled actions and reminders. Verify grace or redemption settings against the actual registrar and registry rules for that extension.
- Test availability and a controlled checkout, including currency, tax and any applicable promotion.
02 Use pricing imports carefully
When the registrar module supports it, open Extras > Import Services > Import TLD prices and create an import profile. Select the provider, separate margins for each action and a reviewed default TLD product for settings the importer cannot determine.
Check the effects of filling missing TLDs and updating missing periods before enabling automatic updates. Use per-TLD overwrite protection for deliberately maintained prices. Review a small sample and decide separately whether existing domain recurring prices should change.
03 Example: review one extension before copying its settings
| TLD action | Check before publishing |
|---|---|
| Registration | Supported period, provider cost and approved retail price. |
| Transfer | Transfer eligibility, authorisation requirements and any included term. |
| Renewal | Supported period, renewal charge and submission timing. |
| Redemption | Whether recovery is supported and the actual fee and lifecycle. |
Use the selected registrar's current information for that extension. Test the resulting checkout in an eligible currency and review whether an import would overwrite a deliberately maintained price.
Expected result: each action can be fulfilled under its own rules. A valid registration price does not establish the correct transfer, renewal or redemption configuration.
Common questions
Why is my registrar unavailable in the price importer?
Not every registrar module implements TLD price retrieval. Use its supported configuration method and maintain prices through a reviewed manual process when necessary.
Can I apply one TLD's settings to the entire domain page?
Only after confirming the extensions share the relevant rules. Bulk copying can carry pricing or registrar settings to TLDs with different renewal windows, periods or requirements.
