Choose a HostBill order page by the service workflow it must support. Its order type determines available product features, while its cart template controls how customers select and configure the offer.

01 Set up the page
- Open Settings > Products & Services and choose Add new order page. Give the category a name customers can understand.
- Select an order type appropriate to the service. For example, domain registration and transfer require a domain-oriented order type. A hosting-specific type should contain products configured for the matching module.
- Choose an available cart template suitable for the number and complexity of choices. Confirm that the template is available in your installation and licence.
- Configure supported template options such as headings, cycle presentation and feature descriptions. Make the amount due today and the recurring charge understandable, especially when setup fees or prorated periods differ.
- Select the intended order scenario and handler. Review any draft-order workflow carefully because it differs from a normal directly priced checkout.
- Add the products and test the actual order URL in a separate customer session. If you create subcategories, keep the hierarchy within the supported single subcategory level.
02 Test visibility and checkout
Check the page while signed out and while signed in as an ordinary client. Test a small screen, required-field errors, a nondefault billing cycle, currency selection and payment-method availability. Complete the checkout with controlled payment and provisioning settings.
Use Registered only when the intended restriction is login. Hidden and private page options affect discoverability and direct-link access; do not treat their names as proof that an unauthorised visitor cannot order. For a negotiated customer offer, test the applicable client eligibility controls.
Common questions
Why do some product options disappear on another order page?
The order type and selected template affect supported features. Check both before rebuilding the product or copying all settings from an unrelated category.
Does hiding an order page disable its existing link?
HostBill documents hidden pages as still accessible through their URL. Use the appropriate archive or access controls for your goal, then test the old link explicitly.
