Check the notice attached to your own Weebly account before planning continued use or migration. Weebly's published regional retirement notice includes Nigeria among affected countries, but its applicability to a particular partner-provided account must be confirmed.
01 Establish the account's position
- Sign in through the route used for your existing service and inspect account notices and emails. Record the site identifier, account country and the date of the notice.
- Read Weebly's current regional notice. For affected accounts it gives 27 September 2026 for site unpublishing and 26 December 2026 for the end of account access.
- If the service was purchased from us, ask support to confirm whether that notice applies to the specific partner account and what migration options are available.
- Check the actual public website, editor access and export options. A working login or an invoice alone does not establish long-term service availability.
- Preserve available content and business records promptly if the account is affected. Prioritise the data needed to rebuild pages, continue orders and maintain customer contact.
- Agree a replacement platform and a dated migration plan. Keep the domain, email and payment services in scope as separate dependencies.
Common questions
Does this mean every Nabtech Weebly site has closed?
No. Confirm the service's account-specific position with us and the provider notice. Do not infer a partner account's status solely from its customer's location.
What if the site is already unavailable?
Check whether editor or account export access remains. Preserve available records and ask support to identify the account status before making DNS changes.
Should I buy a new Weebly plan during the review?
First confirm that the intended account and region remain eligible and that the service meets the required operating period. Choose a supported alternative when continued availability cannot be established.
