Use this guide only for a Weebly account that remains eligible to publish. Weebly has announced a withdrawal from several countries, including Nigeria, and affected accounts need an export and migration plan. Confirm the position of your Nabtech subscription if you receive a restriction or retirement notice.

01 Prepare the site
Open the Weebly editor from the active service and confirm the correct website. Review the subscription's custom-domain entitlement. Registering a domain and assigning it to a builder are separate actions; purchasing one does not automatically publish the other.
- Review the main pages, navigation and mobile layout. Replace sample text and images, check contact details and remove unfinished links.
- Open the site-address setting provided by your editor. Depending on the interface, this appears under Website and General Settings or the site's Settings area.
- Select the domain you own or another address permitted by the plan. Check spelling carefully and obtain the exact DNS instructions shown for that site.
- Update only the records needed for the connection at the authoritative DNS provider. Preserve mail records and other services. You do not normally need a registrar transfer merely to connect a domain.
- Publish the site using the editor's Publish action. Saving a draft alone may not update the public website.
- Test the public address in a private browser window after DNS caches refresh. Check HTTPS, both preferred address forms, navigation and form delivery.
What should I check if my published Weebly site does not appear?
Compare the domain assigned in Weebly with the records currently published in DNS. An unassigned domain, stale record, unpublished draft or account restriction can produce different failures. Do not replace all DNS records as a general remedy.
02 If your account is being retired
Use the available account data download and site archive tools while access remains. Keep the archive securely and inventory forms, store data and connected services separately, since an export may not recreate every interactive feature elsewhere. Arrange the replacement site and any domain transfer before the account's stated deadline.
For support, include your Nabtech service reference, site address, the exact message and whether the editor still permits publishing. Remove account tokens and customer data from screenshots.
