Current Plesk Obsidian uses the Dynamic List experience to organize websites and domains. Older tutorials that ask you to switch freely between Active, Classic and Dynamic views may no longer match your installed release. You can still locate a domain and open its management tools without changing server roles.

What you need before you begin
Confirm which subscription you are viewing and the Plesk version used by your service. A customer website-list layout is different from the server administrator choice between Power User and Service Provider views. Changing a layout does not grant additional permissions.
01 Find your websites in the current Plesk domain view
- Open Websites & Domains and select the relevant subscription if your account owns several.
- Use the domain search or filtering controls to locate the exact hostname, especially when there are many subdomains.
- Expand the domain entry or open its dedicated page to see available hosting, files, databases and mail tools. Recent versions can group actions under tabs such as Dashboard or Hosting & DNS.
- If a layout preference is available in your installed version, choose the display that helps you navigate. Do not expect removed Active List controls to reappear on current releases.
- Check the domain heading before opening File Manager, hosting settings or a destructive action. Similar domain names can be adjacent in the list.
How do I confirm I selected the correct website?
Confirm that you can reach the intended domain tools and that the selected subscription is correct. The website itself should remain unchanged because this is navigation, not a hosting configuration change.
Troubleshoot unexpected results
If a tool is missing, inspect the expanded domain page and your subscription permissions. Ask support about version or role differences rather than installing an old theme or downgrading Plesk. A screenshot from an older release is not evidence that your current account is broken.
