A free trial, cancellation and refund are different processes. The 7-day trial lets you assess an eligible service before continuing with paid hosting. Cancellation records your decision to end a service. A refund is a separate request concerning an eligible payment. Stopping work on a website or allowing a trial to expire should not be treated as confirmation that every related subscription has been cancelled.

01 Check the applicable refund window and exclusions
Submit cancellation through the client area or our billing team before renewal.
| Billing cycle | Refund request window |
|---|---|
| Annual plans | 30 days from initial purchase |
| Monthly or quarterly plans | 72 hours from initial purchase |
Our current terms require cancellation and a specific, verifiable reason; promotional conditions and exclusions apply. Domain registrations, licences and other listed third-party items are not covered by the hosting refund promise. Check the full current terms for your order before relying on a refund.
02 Request a billing review with the order details
To request help, provide the service and invoice references, the purchase date, the billing cycle and your reason. Include relevant support history if the request concerns a technical problem. Our billing team confirms refund eligibility and the outcome after reviewing the actual order. Treat a refund as confirmed only when you receive the relevant confirmation or see the completed transaction.
03 Export your data and confirm the cancellation
Before ending a service, export any files, database content or email you need to retain and confirm where the domain will point afterward. Check whether another website or mailbox still depends on the same account. Domain renewal and other products may require separate decisions.
Keep the cancellation confirmation and review the service status. If you are uncertain about a trial invoice, pending payment or upcoming renewal, contact us before the deadline so the account-specific position can be clarified. Do not assume that a request in ordinary chat has completed the billing action.
04 Example: request cancellation and a separate refund review
You have decided to end a recently purchased service and want billing to assess the associated payment. Send a request that separates the service decision from the payment review.
Service: [the service reference from your account]
Invoice: [the paid invoice number]
Requested service end date: [your intended date]
Cancellation reason: [the specific reason]
Refund review requested: Yes
Relevant support ticket: [reference, if applicable]
Use the client-area cancellation route or billing support, then provide the purchase date and billing cycle if they are not clear from the invoice. Export the website and mail data you need before access ends.
Expected result: you receive a clear cancellation status and a separate refund decision under the applicable terms. Keep both confirmations when both actions were requested.
How do I distinguish cancellation, refund and trial requests?
- Use the client-area cancellation route or contact billing with the service reference and desired end date.
- If requesting a refund, identify the payment, billing cycle, purchase date and applicable reason separately from the cancellation request.
- Export required website and mail data before the service ends, and check any separately renewed domain or addon.
A trial decision, cancellation and refund are not interchangeable. A cancelled subscription does not necessarily produce a refund, and a refund request does not prove that future renewal has been cancelled. Keep both confirmations where both actions are required.
