Create an OX mailbox for each person who needs an independent sign-in and mail store. Check the Nabtech service's purchased mailbox quantity before starting. Adding an alias to an existing account serves a different purpose.

01 Create the user
- Sign in to our client area and open the OX service for the intended domain.
- Choose Manage Email Accounts, or select the domain in the OX dashboard widget and choose Manage.
- Check the available account count. If more licences are required, review the upgrade order first. Quantity controls can represent the desired total, not the number being added.
- Choose Create User, enter the requested account details and add the user.
- Set the mailbox password through the account's password control and deliver it securely to its owner.
02 Confirm readiness
Open webmail using the service's supplied link. Sign in as the new mailbox, send an external test and receive a reply. Check display name, signature and the correct From address before giving the address to customers.
03 Example: add one OX mailbox to an existing service
Your OX service has an unused mailbox entitlement and needs an independent account for [email protected]. Open that domain's OX service in our client area.
- Choose Manage Email Accounts, or use the domain widget's Manage option.
- Confirm the available account count before starting.
- Choose Create User and enter Sam's requested account details.
- Set the password through the account's password control and deliver initial access to Sam.
- Use the supplied webmail link to send an external test and receive a reply.
Expected result: Sam has a separate mailbox and sign-in, with the correct From address. If an upgrade is needed first, check whether its quantity field means the desired total number of mailboxes rather than the number being added.
Common questions
Does creating a user change my domain's mail routing?
No. Provisioning the mailbox and directing incoming mail to the service are separate parts of onboarding. Verify the domain setup if webmail works but external messages do not arrive.
Why is the address unavailable?
Check existing mailboxes and aliases for the same address. Avoid deleting an existing account merely to free its name until its data and ownership have been reviewed.
What should I send to support?
Provide the OX service reference, domain, intended address and visible error. Include whether the available mailbox count is zero. Do not include the chosen password. If the account already appears after a slow response, test it before submitting another creation request.
