Upload business files to OX Drive when the purchased account includes Drive storage. Choose the correct folder and inspect its sharing before uploading sensitive material.

01 Upload and verify
- Open Drive and select a folder where you may create items.
- Choose New > Upload files, or Upload folder where supported.
- Select the local material and wait for the displayed transfer to finish.
- Review any same-name handling. The account's Drive settings can determine whether an existing filename produces a new version or a separate item.
- Open or download a sample from Drive and compare its contents and size with the source.
02 Choose a useful structure
Use clear project folders and filenames, and identify the approved current version. Check large batches for missing items rather than treating a completed progress bar as proof that every expected file was included. Empty local folders may not be uploaded.
Common questions
Why is upload unavailable?
Check the ordered plan, current folder permission and remaining storage. A shared folder may allow reading without creating files.
Will uploading overwrite a file with the same name?
Inspect the account's add-file behaviour and any prompt. For critical work, download the current file or use an explicit new-version action before replacing anything.
Is the uploaded file public?
Its audience depends on folder and file sharing. Review permissions rather than assuming every Drive upload is private.
Keep the original local copy until verification is complete. If a transfer repeatedly fails, test a small harmless file to separate access problems from size or connectivity issues. Give us the folder, file type, approximate size and error without attaching confidential content unnecessarily.
